STEPS:
1. Begin by ironing each dishtowel to smooth out any unwanted wrinkles. (That I clearly DID NOT do in the above photo. Don’t follow my lead people. Ironing makes life so much simpler.) Use the measuring tape to find the exact center of the dishtowel. Fold the towel in half at that point. Secure with pins.
2. Carefully cut down the center fold. Repeat for each remaining towel.3. Measure a 1/4 inch seam allowance. Fold the edge in and secure along the length of the edge. 4. Sew a straight stitch along the folded edge paying close attention to the seam. Trim any excess thread from the finished seam. A serger may be used in place of a conventional sewing machine. Repeat this step for each remaining napkin.
